Today’s Fragrance:The Position Of Rulership

Scriptures: Romans 5:17; Ephesians 1:21-23; 2:6

“And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

A Christian is one born of God to reign in life (Rom. 5:17) because he is one who is in Christ Jesus seated above all powers with all things under his feet. As Christ is the head and the church His body, we are not subject to things of this world nor its rudiments but reign over them. When you reign in life sicknesses don’t, poverty doesn’t, every hard work pays off and Christ is glorified in your life.

God puts everything under the feet of his people, the church, for the position of rulership. There are two areas of rulership; not as the world’s where your ways are supreme, but in Christ, as should be in our governments, corporate world, homes and church settings. We rule over someone to provide safety (create an environment where there is security) and we come under to serve (lifting others to the place where God wants them to be). So the greatest of the kingdom, Jesus says, is the one who serves (Mat. 18:4).

It is God’s plan to use redeemed people to illustrate His rulership. God is looking for people who will cooperate with the fullness of His presence; operating and manifesting through them so that this world actually gets a full and accurate taste of who Jesus is. It’s all about Jesus. Hence, He dwells in us fully in bodily form.

Is Jesus in you? If He is, are you cooperating with the Holy Spirit to exhibit Him in every character you exude? Or are you living life full of your own ways, ruling over people and not raising them to the place God wants them to be? At every point in our lives, there are people who pour into our lives, whom we share ideas with and whom we impart (directly and indirectly).

What impact do you leave behind in your trails? Is it Christ’s or yourself? For you are crucified in Christ, as I am, you live because Jesus lives in you (Gal. 2:20).

Shalom.
