29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Sometimes as we walk through the busyness of our day we get to a junction of our lives where we stop to pose the question; does God really care about me and what I’m going through?
How it is that He can watch me suffer even as I work wholeheartedly for Him? Why is it that even the unbelievers seem to be enjoying life than those of us who have been graced with life eternal?
Well, let me just chip this in… at a point in my life I was so overwhelmed by the happenings around me that I wanted so much to be angry at God, funny right?
And as interesting as it may sound, I found no reason to be angry after searching so hard. So I ended up crying my heart out to satisfy myself and after that I boxed on! [haha] What changed? I found that no matter what I was going through in life I was so much graced. People who do not have what i had and still cried over, are even more thankful.
Anytime i’m overwhelmed by life happenings, I remember Psalm 116 verse seven and as I do I am so much encouraged as the Word put on flesh in my life.
7 Let my soul be at rest again, for the Lord has been good to me.
Friend, I do not know what you’re battling with but I know God loves you and in ways your mind would never comprehend.
Keep on praising him and wait whiles holding on to what you have firmly, Help is coming!
Your Father determines your worth, and as far as I’m concerned, based on His word, you are worth more than many sparrows! My dear you will eat and be satisfied!
Father Lord thank you for showering your love on me even when I don’t deserve. Help me appreciate you more even when life circumstances overwhelm me in Jesus’ name, amen.
