Scripture reference: Proverbs 1:20-33; 1:5
“Wisdom cries in the streets” and calls upon all to draw from her.
This is just the depiction of the Word of God we hear daily—in church, school, streets and even workplace. We are inundated daily with wisdom from above because our Father does not want us to walk in our own minds, which fails.
How do we then catch the spirit of wisdom? Now, we know that Christ is made unto us wisdom first (1 Corinthians 1:30) and He also is the truth (John 14:6). Which means the truth and wisdom is one.
Therefore, getting wisdom is studying the Word of God. It opens your mind, “making wise the foolish” (Proverbs 19:7) and anyone who spends time in the Word gets daily nuggets of wisdom for his/her daily walk.
Ever wondered why there are thirty-one (31) chapters for the book of Proverbs? Well, that’s one chapter for each day. You would realise as you do that every month different verses pop up at you and you get fresh revelation by the Holy Spirit and that is exciting! You will find studying the Bible pleasurable and would be hungry for more because wisdom satisfies and truth makes free.
Daily, God speaks to us and He desires to continue doing that. Let us avail ourselves to the Word with the aid of the Holy Ghost and catch the spirit of wisdom—one which “no adversary can resist nor gainsay”.
