For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4)
I love the word Victory and the strong feelings of elation that accompanies it. Often applied to warfare, Webster defines it as overcoming of an enemy or antagonist.
Sometimes when we are caught in difficult moments and we pray to God, we thank Him after we’ve seen the evidence of our answered prayer…but one thing I ask is, shouldn’t we rather thank Him when we haven’t yet seen the evidence? Isn’t that a way of putting our faith in God into action?
We as believers have victory embedded in our DNA. We need only believe, walk and live in this victory.
Yes, we are at war and this war isn’t against flesh and blood and most times the battle field is our mind. We need to fight from the stance of victory, that is the only way the victory won for us in Christ would be effected.
I pray each of us would be able to achieve lasting victory.Victory over the enemy. Victory in spite of all difficulties in our path. We can never be truly victorious through our own acts. But thanks be to God, He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
You may be feeling desperate for a miracle today, but I have good news. Jesus is Lord! There is victory in His name. Claim yours today. Shalom
