Beyond The Rhythm- Rez Power By Israel Houghton

Greetings to my favorite people on the face of this earth.

It took so long a time in my eyes but finally it’s here, another blessed Thursday!

Today on “BEYOND THE RHYTHM”, We are diving deeper in the dimensions of Gospel music to bring you something exceptional to stir up your Spirit.
Now let’s have a look at the amazing song titled “REZ POWER” by the man himself Israel Houghton and his team, NEW BREED. The title of the song is actually “Resurrection Power” but someway somehow it is known as “REZ POWER”. The song is one of the hit singles on his album released in 2012 captioned (JESUS AT THE CENTRE)

The song speaks of the liberty Christians have in the death and resurrection  of Christ Jesus. His resurrection brought freedom to many undeserved lives. But those who despite the odds received Him in faith, He gave them the right to Sonship and also made them co-heirs with Christ. The song begins with an Enthronement Praise written in the Book of Psalm chapter 47 verse 1

(a song written by David, insatiably praising and delighting in the Lord). The co-lead singer, Jeremiah Woods also brings the beauty and art of music to bare with a smooth fusion with Israel’s voice.

The death of Jesus has paid it all therefore, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. There is no way we are joining forces with Lucifer (NO LONGER SLAVES TO SIN) to overthrow the Love Government in heaven and that is Lucifer’s main agenda when he didn’t succeed.

When he was thrown down he made a vow to Himself not to defy his utmost aim (i.e. to be like God) and that is why temptations befall us and we struggle. But the Blood of Jesus is here to prove a point of unending love …Hallelujah.

So if Paul the man who started as Saul, persecutor of God’s people said in Philippians 3:10
“I want to know you Christ and the power of resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like him in his death”
Then you and I have no excuse!!!. Yes indeed the power of His resurrection brought life to us, no more under captivity and so we clap our hands and with voice of triumph proclaim victory over every battle in our life in Jesus’ name. AMEN
