Talk of purity now? Looks like a cursed word, no one wants to hear it, after all we are just enjoying life and what’s wrong with that?
In such a perverse world where sin is no longer sin but a mistake, purity has also become too archaic to be taken seriously.

Things have changed and we are living in that change. This seems to me as the new order of the day.
One thing I’m thankful for even amidst all teachings and misunderstandings is that, no matter how the world changes, God remains the same and so is His law. This means that sin remains sin no matter how pretty it looks when decorated, it will forever be dirty!

Now the question here is, with so much evil deeds in this world, is it possible not to sin and keeping your ways pure? Is that even achievable?

The answer is YES!!!

Purity is achievable but How?

PSALMS 119:9-11

How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Seeking God earnestly in His word so that the word takes root in your heart, strongly shields you from sin.
Don’t worry about the fact that temptations arise from everywhere and every time, what you should rather be concerned about is that grace abounds!

And because of that you are more than able to maintain and live up to God’s standards.

Father Lord, thank you for today and this word, Lord I open myself up to you, search me oh God and know my heart, if there is any sin in me, cleanse me and lead me to the path everlasting in Jesus name, amen.
